Description
The AgiBot OmniHand 2025 with Tactile Sensors (Right) is the touch-enhanced, right-handed edition of AgiBot's interactive dexterous hand, built to reproduce precision pinch, lateral key grip, power grasp and in-hand reorientation through tendon-driven actuation, compliant mechanics and multi-zone tactile sensing. Its anthropomorphic layout pairs an opposable thumb with three central fingers and a stabilising little finger across up to 16–19 controllable degrees of freedom.
What sets this configuration apart is its sensing: every fingertip carries multi-cell pressure taxels—upgradable to high-density gel pads—and the controller fuses normal pressure, shear and slip cues, and joint torque to drive reflexes such as grip-tighten, micro-roll and re-grasp. An optional palm 6-axis force/torque module supports whole-hand control, while LED and haptic feedback guide teleoperators. EtherCAT or CAN-FD control, ROS 2 drivers and modular fingertips make it well suited to manipulation research, robot learning and contact-rich logistics and service pilots.
