Timo is the compact all-round model in Alpha Robotics' reception range. At 1,200 mm and 19 kg it is the lightest of Alpha's reception robots, and it puts the display where a face would be: a 13.3-inch HD touch screen forms the head, showing an animated face and playing video, adverts and information. A torso with an HD speaker, two flexible arms and a microphone array complete the body, with 6 degrees of freedom in all.

Alpha aims Timo at schools, nursing homes, education, retail and public-service settings, and pictures it in exhibition halls, service halls and at front desks. It handles reception, voice conversation and voice commands, explanations and guided walks to a destination, recognises enrolled faces and answers business questions from a knowledge base. Automatic recharging is also among its functions.

Timo overlaps with Snow on setting and function, so the practical differences are physical. Timo is slimmer at 460 × 460 mm and 11 kg lighter, has 6 degrees of freedom against Snow's 4, and is rated at 40 W against 50 W, but it runs up to 8 hours per charge where Snow manages up to 10. Any other difference in software or accessories is confirmed at quote.

It navigates by LiDAR with a 40 m range, positions itself to ±50 mm and moves at up to 1.2 m/s. Its 20 Ah battery recharges in 3–4 hours, and it runs on Android.
