The BrainCo Revo 2 Touch (XTL) is the left-hand configuration of BrainCo's tactile-sensing dexterous robotic hand, designed for humanoid robots, manipulation research, and industrial R&D. The Revo 2 series is distinguished by its compact, phone-sized form factor — approximately 160 mm × 76 mm — and 383 g mass, making it one of the lightest capable dexterous hands available for bipedal humanoid integration, where distal mass directly affects gait stability and energy consumption. With 11 degrees of freedom and sub-millimeter positional precision, the hand delivers the kinematic range necessary for tool use, door handle operation, and interaction with everyday objects in human-centric environments.

The Touch variant adds an integrated multi-modal tactile sensor suite at the fingertips: 3D tactile sensing detects fingertip pressure, force direction, object hardness, texture, and near-contact proximity simultaneously, enabling adaptive grip responses and reliable handling of delicate or variable-surface objects. Despite its compact size, the Revo 2 Touch achieves approximately 50 N whole-hand grip force and up to 20 kg rated payload — a strength-to-weight ratio that supports handling of tools, containers, and heavier components. Multi-bus connectivity via RS-485, CAN FD, and EtherCAT over a 9–64 V input range, paired with an SDK including touch data visualization utilities, makes the hand integration-ready for common robot controllers and research software stacks.
