The TOUA SK01 is a battery-powered robotic skimmer from Nanjing TOUA Robot Technology. It floats on the pool and collects leaves, insects, petals and other floating debris from the water surface before they sink. It is a surface unit only: it does not vacuum the floor or scrub the walls, so it works alongside a floor cleaner and the pool's own filtration rather than replacing them.

Power comes from a 5,200 mAh battery charged either by the sun or by an external charger (AC 100–240 V input, DC 8.4 V / 2 A output), which refills it in about 2.5 hours. On battery alone the SK01 is rated for 2.5 hours; with sunlight topping it up, solar-plus-battery operation is rated at up to 10 hours. Shade, cloud and the season decide how close a given day comes to that figure.

The debris basket holds 7 L behind a 180 µm standard filter, and an anti-spill hatch keeps the catch inside when the unit is lifted out. Retractable anti-grounding legs help it ride over pool steps without bottoming out, the shell uses UV-resistant material, and collision sensing is standard, with ultrasonic obstacle avoidance as an option. Over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi the app provides manual control and shows real-time water temperature and battery status, and the firmware updates over the air. TOUA rates it for standard, saltwater and natural pools of any size.

The SK01 and SK03 are the two TOUA skimmers in this range and share the 180 µm filter, wireless connectivity and the 10-hour solar-plus-battery rating. The SK01 favours capacity: a 7 L basket against the SK03's 4 L, and a 2.5-hour charge against 6 hours, in exchange for a smaller battery (5,200 versus 7,800 mAh) and 2.5 hours rather than 3 on battery alone. It suits pools that collect a lot of leaves, where fewer basket emptyings matter more than battery-only endurance. Dimensions and weight are confirmed with the quotation.

Key Capabilities

• Surface debris collection: Floats and gathers leaves, insects and petals from the water surface before they sink.
• Solar-assisted runtime: 2.5 hours on the 5,200 mAh battery alone, rated up to 10 hours with solar plus battery.
• 7 L basket with anti-spill hatch: The larger of the two TOUA skimmer baskets, behind a 180 µm standard filter.
• 2.5-hour recharge: An external DC 8.4 V / 2 A charger refills the battery when there is no sun.
• Anti-grounding legs: Retractable legs help it pass over pool steps without bottoming out.
• App over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi: Manual control, real-time water temperature and battery status, with over-the-air firmware updates.
