Description
This is the protective stand for the Unitree H2: a mobile crane on lockable castor wheels, with a column, a lifting arm worked by a hand-cranked winch and a suspension hook. A lanyard runs through the suspension latches on both of the H2's shoulders and onto the hook, so the 182 cm, 70 kg humanoid hangs with its feet clear of the ground.
The stand is part of the H2's everyday routine. The robot is lifted out of its packaging case with it, powered on while suspended, and released from the hook only once it is standing steadily. Before shutdown it goes back on the stand, because a humanoid that loses power while standing falls; the same applies to a forced shutdown and to long standby in damping mode. During motion, a tether or the stand is recommended wherever possible to guard against falls.
Every H2 is delivered with one stand. A second one is for a lab with more than one H2, a second work area or test track, or a replacement, so the robot is never started or parked without one.
Rated load, lifting height, footprint and shipping weight, and whether a suspension lanyard is included, are confirmed at quote.
